Enter your ZIP code to see the estate sale companies that work near you, ordered by how many sales we've seen them run nearby in the last 12 months. Each one lists those sales, so you can see the kind of houses they take on. Nobody pays to be listed or to be higher up. We cover San Diego, Los Angeles and Orange County.

Where the list comes from
We keep a list of the estate sale companies in each area and read the upcoming sales on their own websites, which is how their sales get onto Estate Sale Zone. A company's page here shows those sales. A company can claim its page to add a description, its phone number and the areas it serves, and to take quote requests through us. Pages marked “Run by the company” have been claimed. We don't have reviews or ratings.
What to ask before you sign
Companies are paid a share of what sells. The Southern California companies that publish a rate charge 30% to 45%, and our estate sale guide lists them with links to their own pages. Nationally, the average is 40%, according to EstateSales.NET's 2024 survey of estate sale businesses.
- What percentage do you take, and is there a minimum fee?
- What costs extra: advertising, security, clean-out, trash removal?
- What happens to whatever doesn't sell, and who decides?
- When and how are we paid, and do we get an itemized list of what sold?
- Are you insured, and who is in the house during the sale?
- Can I see the photos and listing from a recent sale of a house like ours?
Get the answers in the contract. If a company here has sales near you, open them to see how they photograph and describe a house.
