About this sale
Open-house sale at my woodworking buddy’s Ballard workshop! 5,000+ board feet of high-quality local hardwood, plus heirloom-quality live-edge tabletops and equipment (lathe, material carts, etc). No purchase minimum! Photos don’t show all inventory; there’s lots more to see. Plus, help yourself to free lumber stickers! Perfect for stacking boards and slabs. We have loads of stickers on site, with a mix of 1” x 2” / 2” x 2” thick and 24” / 32”/ 48” long. Entrance is on the back side of 4616 14th Ave NW in Ballard. Enter the alley with the chain-link gate, walk to the back of the building, and door will be on your left. Most lumber is 2.25” thick Black Walnut and Elm with one or two live edges, sustainably harvested in and around Yakima Valley. Figured Maple, Barley Maple, Sycamore, Fir, and a small amount of English Walnut also available. Slabs are rough (no jointing, planing, sanding), securely stored indoors or outside under tarps/awnings, and either air dried for 6+ years or air dried for up to 3 years and then kiln dried. Slabs have been kept as wide as possible, with many appropriate for large-scale projects (conference table, dining tables, etc.). We have a forklift and can assist with load-out. Stock subject to change at any time as sales are made. Accepting cash, checks, Venmo, and credit cards (for credit card purchases, there is a small processing fee).
